Discover the world of color and texture with Colour in Glazes!

Colour in Glazes is an expert book by Linda Bloomfield focused on working with color in ceramic glazes. It offers explanations of selected principles that influence the final appearance of glazes during firing and can serve as both inspiration and guidance for personal experiments and testing.

The book includes information about types of glazes, their composition, and application possibilities. It addresses how colors can change depending on firing temperature, the materials used, and other variables. The publication can be useful for both beginners and more experienced ceramicists who want to broaden their knowledge and better understand the relationships between recipes, techniques, and outcomes.

This is not a "guaranteed recipe" for a specific result-the behavior of glazes can vary according to the clay used, the kiln, and the particular firing conditions. However, the book provides a framework and recommendations that can help when planning your own tests and when seeking desired color effects and textures.
