Franke created an 'line current' that accompanies passengers on their way through the building. It comprises a multifaceted stream of green silkscreen ink captured on hundreds of individual panes of glass that mostly cover the walls of the subway station's entrances and exits.§§This publication presents a comprehensive view of Franke's visually impressive project-which dissolves the boundaries between painting and sculpture-from start to finish.§§Brief biography:§§Studied sculpture at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Tony Cragg and Irmin Kamp, as well as at the am Institut des hautes études en arts plastique, Paris§§2005 residency at the Villa Massimo, Rome leírás elrejtése
